How it works
Product journey
The six stages
Stage 01 / 06
Import Master CV
What happens
An existing CV — DOCX, a text or scanned PDF, a LinkedIn profile PDF, or pasted text — becomes correctable, structured Master CV content. The original source is preserved, and anything the extraction is unsure about is flagged for you to resolve before the version is confirmed.
What it refuses
It never merges, replaces, or synchronizes content into an existing Master CV — a repeat import is an explicit choice between a new Master CV and a new source revision. A version also can't be confirmed while any flagged uncertainty is still unresolved.
Stage 02 / 06
Context Blueprint
What happens
QuantCV shows what it detected about this application — industry, role, seniority, market, and company — as a compact, editable summary, with each value marked as extracted, inferred, or selected. You confirm or correct it before anything downstream runs.
What it refuses
A generic or unsupported industry is always labeled as generic — it's never presented as specialized knowledge QuantCV doesn't have — and a correction shows you which dependent results go stale before you apply it.
Stage 03 / 06
Evidence and Gap Interview
What happens
Vacancy requirements are checked against your confirmed evidence. Where a requirement might be supported but the evidence is incomplete, QuantCV asks a targeted question instead of guessing, tied to that specific requirement and the evidence that triggered it.
What it refuses
A requirement with no supporting evidence stays a visible gap and never becomes a candidate claim, and your answers become proposed evidence only — QuantCV never confirms evidence on your behalf.
Stage 04 / 06
CV Surgery
What happens
A Tailored CV is derived from your confirmed Master CV version and the confirmed application context. Every inclusion, exclusion, reorder, localization, and rewrite is listed in the Tailoring Manifest, alongside the requirement and evidence it's tied to.
What it refuses
Excluding content from the Tailored CV never deletes it from the Master CV, and no rewrite can introduce a claim your evidence doesn't support — an unsupported requirement stays a gap, not a sentence.
Stage 05 / 06
Four reviews
What happens
The working package is examined from four independent angles: View as ATS shows the deterministic parsing view of its structure and reading order, Recruiter Review checks how a recruiter's first scan lands, Hiring Manager Review checks whether a hiring manager can verify each claim against your evidence, and Consistency Guard checks whether your CV and cover letter agree with each other.
What it refuses
The four views are never collapsed into one score, and readiness only reflects checks that actually completed — a missing, failed, or stale report blocks it, and none of it predicts an interview or an offer.
Stage 06 / 06
Application Package
What happens
The Tailored CV, cover letter, and all four reviews come together as one versioned, coherent package for this vacancy, ready to export as a final file once you're satisfied.
What it refuses
A PDF or DOCX export never gates readiness or settles the package by itself — the package is only complete once every declared component has reported completion against that same version.
Structural guarantees
What QuantCV will never do
QuantCV never predicts an interview, an offer, or a hiring outcome.
Anything it cannot ground in your confirmed evidence becomes a visible gap or a question — never a claim.
